Althea Outreach Campaign

Support for outreach and engagement activities for the documentary film Althea, about African American tennis champion Althea Gibson. Gibson was a truant who came from the rough streets of Harlem to emerge as the unlikely queen of the highly segregated tennis world of the 1950s. She was the first African American to play at (and win) Wimbledon and the US Nationals (precursor of the US
Open).
