Ku Kanaka/Stand Tall

The film tells the story through the voice of a leader in the Hawaiian movement for civil rights and self-determination, Kanalu Young. A quadriplegic since age 15, he felt he owed his life to the Hawaiian values of ‘ohana (family) and kuleana (responsibility).
