Military Medicine

This one-hour special hosted by ABC News correspondent Bob Woodruff covers the full spectrum of military medical advances and technology from the battlefield to the return home. The personal stories of physicians, scientists, medics, active duty military personnel and wounded warriors and their families is combined with illustrative motion graphics and animation to describe how medical advances are changing the lives of service members, their families, and the country. The film explores the lasting issues that confront both veterans and their caregivers. The program aired in November 2016 to coincide with Veterans Day.
