Your Role:

The Manager, Digital Publishing Systems oversees and manages the day to day operations of APMG digital media asset publishing systems and workflows.


Harvest Public Media is seeking an environmental and agriculture reporter to join our team at KCUR in Kansas City. This person should be eager to dive into issues around climate change, water quality and access, food production, as well as delving into the challenges facing rural communities.

We’re looking for a reporter with a keen curiosity, an interest in solutions reporting and the ability to find stories that connect listeners and readers across the region.


 Produce stations Id’s, underwriting, membership and other spots for broadcast.

 Assist in the production of new programming for broadcast.

 Maintain and oversee the digital streaming presence and online repository of locally
produced programming.

 Scriptwriting .

 Assist in the management of the ENCO automation system.

 Supervise and mentor production interns.

 Perform other related duties as assigned

This role requires the ability to develop and implement membership campaigns, cultivate donor relationships, and manage membership databases effectively. Under the direction of the General Manager, WFIT’s Membership and Volunteer Manager will develop strategies and tactics to increase the number of new members and retain current ones. The position is responsible for planning and executing WFIT’s on air fund drives and direct mail program. The position is also responsible for managing WFIT’s volunteers who help with fund drives, on-site presence at events and office operations.


KCUR 89.3 is seeking a Political Reporter to join the Kansas News Service, a reporting collaboration of public media stations throughout Kansas.

In this position, the reporter will be covering campaigns and politics, producing in-depth features on the power dynamics across the state and working with the Statehouse reporter to cover the Kansas Legislature for the KNS. This content will range from short on-air newscast stories and longer features to digital content.
