Producer/Director

Blue Ridge PBS, serving Southwest, VA, has an immediate opening for Producer/Director. The ideal candidate produces and directs television programs, series, long-form segments and promotional spots as well as other multi-media educational, corporate and industrial segments. Excellent writing and non-linear editing skills are required.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 5 years’ experience preferred. Thorough knowledge of digital video production and long-form storytelling needed.


Alaska Public Media is recruiting an experienced journalist for Alaska’s Energy Desk, our Alaska Regional Journalism Collaboration (RJC), funded by a major grant from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. The partner organizations have dedicated a team of reporters, editors and producers to provide in-depth coverage of energy and environment issues in Alaska for statewide and national audiences. POSITION SUMMARY

The Arts Reporter/Digital Producer works with the Art&Seek team, part of KERA’s expanded newsroom, and reports directly to the VP Arts. He/she will be responsible to write and produce newscast-length radio reports; write, edit and curate digital content for artandseek.org; curate social media streams and create video and multimedia content. The Arts Reporter/Digital producer will develop the Art&Seek website to its fullest potential as a resource for thoughtful arts journalism and event information.


VPM is looking for a Digital News Editor to work with our news team to increase the reach and impact of our news stories. The Digital News Editor must be able to respond quickly to breaking news, work collaboratively across teams, and deliver compelling and innovative digital news content.
