Television

The person selected will be responsible for planning, strategizing, executing and securing sponsorship of public service media programs, local media productions, educational media services, community outreach workshops, capital equipment, and other Vegas PBS activities from individuals, associations, corporations, unions, foundations and state or federal agency grants. This position will serve to lead, direct, and manage the grant, sales, and fundraising department of Vegas PBS.

Detroit Public TV (DPTV) is Michigan’s largest and most watched television station serving Southeastern Michigan, the most diverse public television audience in the country. This vice president level position will oversee media and information technology, broadcast and digital distribution, engineering, facilities and infrastructure services. He or she will be responsible for the planning, management, and overall supervision of the Technical Services and IT Departments ensuring the highest possible quality of broadcast and production of on-air programs and technical services to external and internal customers. 


ABOUT THE ROLE

You’ll expand NewsHour’s use of social media storytelling with exclusive social content produced in and around Washington. You’ll manage live, breaking, current events on Twitter, Facebook LIVE, and Instagram TV and engage in daily news and long-term projects on various social platforms. We’ll look to you for the latest in social media tools and techniques and track/communicate social performance and engagement metrics to internal staff. You’ll also work with external partners on social media partnerships and sharing.

The News & Politics Editor is a seasoned multimedia expert who leads a team of public-interest journalists producing stories for Cascade Public Media. Together, this team investigates and explains the dramatic changes underway in Seattle, Puget Sound and the Pacific Northwest; watchdogs elected leaders, public officials and government agencies; and facilitates dialogue between community members and policymakers, and across urban-rural, east-west, red-blue and racial/cultural divides.


Rocky Mountain Public Media is looking for an experienced Production Manager to work alongside our award-winning local content teams to help create programs that inform and entertain our statewide communities. 


Main Purpose Of Job

The main purpose of this position is to serve as the primary administrative assistant to the Vice President and the 30 person development team at MPT.

Note: This position will work some nights and weekends.

Mountain Lake PBS, which serves the beautiful Adirondack region, seeks an experienced and energetic Account Representative to join our development team. This position works to secure essential corporate support for Mountain Lake PBS' programs and initiatives, including local and national programs like Masterpiece and Mountain Lake Journal, and for special events and educational activities. The right candidate for this position will have sales experience, and a strong belief in the value of public broadcasting. This position will remain open until filled.
