Job Description:

NEPM enriches people's lives through programs and services that educate, inspire, and entertain, fostering citizenship and culture, the joy of learning, and the power of diverse perspectives.

About Us

At New England Public Media, we aspire to be the hometown station for western Massachusetts. NEPM’s mission is to enrich lives here through programming that nurtures community, civility, and curiosity. Our current programming is as compelling and diverse as the region we serve: public radio and TV services, a 24-7 classical channel, jazz shows, education programs, live events, podcasts and more.

About the Role

As Vice President of Content & Audience Strategy, you’ll lead the teams that create the content and programming for NEPM. Your strategic and creative thinking, paired with an analytical perspective, operational know-how, and broad knowledge of the media landscape, will help these teams operate effectively and have fun as we work to get more people to rely on NEPM every day.

The heart of this role will be audience service: making sure our programming is valuable to our loyal fans and inviting newcomers all the time. You’ll work with a talented team that includes journalists, editors, producers, and hosts to create can’t-miss content and experiences across multiple platforms.

This position reports directly to the President of NEPM and is based in western Massachusetts. A hybrid work schedule is an option.

You’ve helped heritage brands find new opportunities in the digital space. You’re fully committed to the need for quality, trustworthy journalism in a healthy democracy.
