CPB Board of Directors to Meet on October 12-13, 2022

WASHINGTON, D.C. (September 26, 2022) -- The CPB Board of Directors will hold its annual meeting in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, October 12, from 9:30 am – 5:15 pm ET and Thursday, October 13, from 9:30 am – 12:05 pm ET. On the draft agenda:

Day One (October 12):

  • Approval of Minutes (public and executive sessions)
  • Chair and Directors’ Remarks
  • President’s Report to the Board
  • Committee Chair Report – Resolution Approving Proposed FY 2023 Operating Budget
  • GBH U.S. History Collection for PBS LearningMedia 
  • “One Small Step” with Guest Speakers Dave Isay, Founder of StoryCorps and Sandra Clark, CEO of StoryCorps
  • Media Landscape Discussion with Guest Speaker Jeffrey Cole, Founder and Director of the Center for the Digital Future 
  • PBS Audience Insights (executive session)
  • Confidential Contractual Matters (executive session): Public Radio and Television Interconnection; FEMA Next Generation Warning System Grant Program; Editorial Integrity and Leadership Initiative; Urban Alternative Music Format Project; and American Graduate Agreement (Day Two) 

Day Two (October 13):

  • Review of FY 2023 - 2025 Business Plan (executive session)
  • Annual Code of Ethics Certification and Review of Conflict of Interests Policy
  • Discussion of Calendar Year 2023 Meeting Dates and Locations
  • Election of Chair and Vice Chair
  • Future Agenda Items
