Digital Emergency Alerting in Hurricane States

NPR Distribution/Public Radio Satellite System is assisting up to 30 public radio stations along the Southeastern and Gulf Coasts with activating the display of local metadata for synchronized, broadcast text and audio and/or video emergency alerts. This 20-month effort increases the number stations enabled to send digital emergency alerts via NPR's MetaPub system.
