Gulf States Newsroom

The grant supports the development of a regional journalism collaboration in the central Gulf Coast region, led by WBHM in Birmingham, AL, with partners Mississippi Public Broadcasting and WWNO in New Orleans. The collaboration works closely with NPR with an initial focus on health care; rural transformation and economic development; environment; and criminal justice.
