Integrating Multiple Perspectives in the U.S. History Curriculum

GBH is developing Integrating Multiple Perspectives in the U.S. History Curriculum, a comprehensive U.S. History Collection that spans the breadth of critical topics and periods, and that challenges students to use historical reasoning skills to construct meaning out of a past comprising multiple (often disparate) stories, perspectives and experiences. The U.S. History Collection also promotes civic education through the study of history to foster a better understanding of the fundamentals of government and lays the groundwork for students' civic engagement.
