National Programming Service (NPS) FY 2019

The NPS is funded pursuant to the plan submitted to Congress by CPB and PBS in 1989. The NPS funding provides support to PBS primetime and children's series on an annual basis. This grant supported American Experience (Season 32), WGBH, Boston, MA; American Masters (Season 32), WNET, New York, NY; FRONTLINE (Season 37), WGBH, Boston, MA; Nature (Season 37), WNET, New York, NY; NOVA (Season 46), WGBH, Boston, MA; PBS NewsHour (Season 34), WETA, Arlington, VA; Washington Week (Season 53), WETA, Arlington, VA; and Wild Kratts (Season 6), Kratt Brothers company, Ottawa, Canada; and 9 Story Entertainment, Buffalo, NY, and Toronto, Canada. This funding represented the third year in a three-year agreement.
