StoryCorps Military Voices Initiative 2020 - 2021

StoryCorps collects, broadcasts and preserves compelling stories of American veterans, active military personnel, and their families through its Military Voices Initiative. StoryCorps is partnering with stations WLTR (South Carolina Public Radio) in Columbia, SC; KUOW in Seattle, WA; and KUT in Austin, TX; to engage with local organizations serving military and veteran populations and record interviews. StoryCorps is also collaborating with WFMV in Columbia, SC (an African American-owned gospel station); KRIZ in Seattle, WA (an African American-owned gospel station); and KLZT in Austin, TX (a station broadcasting a regional Mexican format); to reach new audiences and promote the project.
