WNET WPPB Long Island COS

This grant supports the hiring of a programming consultant and a staffing consultant and a marketing research firm to support the WNET Group's purchase of public radio station WPPB on Long Island to combine its operations with WLIW21. The purchase, completed in March 2020, brings together Long Island's only CPB CSG-qualified NPR affiliate and its only PBS affiliate to better serve local audiences.
