  • Serve as liaison between Illinois Soul and the regional Black community
  • Represent Illinois Soul on Campus to academic units and student organizations
  • Work with key community partners to grow Illinois Soul’s visibility and audience
  • Manage community events with other IPM depts. & partners
  • Articulate the station's vision to community, partners and supporters

Resource Development: 


We’re looking for an experienced, creative program director to grow our audience by integrating Public Radio’s best programming practices and can develop individual programs produced to system standards. The program director must be able to determine what songs and programs serve the audience.

Wisconsin Public Radio is hiring two newsroom fellows. Meant to serve as developmental reporters, these are 12-month positions for early career journalists. They will be general-assignment reporters responsible for producing daily news stories and, occasionally, feature-length material for radio and the web. The person in this role will precisely execute technical aspects of live radio shows with a current focus on The Morning Show, which airs from 7am to 9am Monday through Friday. -Setup console for show and load any show music or sound clips into automation
