MANAGER, MARKETING OPERATIONS AND PARTNERSHIPS

POSITION SUMMARY:

KERA is seeking a full-time Manager, Marketing Operations and Partnerships. This position plays a crucial role in driving audience growth and engagement for KERA. You will work closely with a dynamic team responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns, fostering partnerships, and optimizing marketing operations. This position also serves on the organization’s Operations Team under the direction of the Chief of Staff.

 

This position is classified as FLSA exempt and is not eligible for overtime. The position reports directly to the Director, Marketing.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

· Manage and implement strategic marketing campaigns and processes for all KERA platforms

· Oversee media buying and planning

· Identify and facilitate partnership opportunities for marketing trade campaigns

· Draft, review and track deliverables on contracts and partnership agreements

· Write compelling copy for broadcast and digital promotions

· Serve as project manager for marketing campaigns and initiatives

· Assist with marketing strategy and analytics for campaign proofs of performance

· Serve on the Operations Team, which includes ensuring communication and information is flowing from Audience Development to teams across KERA, and vice versa

· Serve as an advocate and primary communicator on behalf of the marketing and larger Audience Development team

· 2-3 years professional experience in media buying, marketing and/or PR

· Proven advanced skills in writing marketing copy

· Proficient in promotional campaign development and project management

· Experience in fundraising promotions

· Experience with WordPress, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and email marketing services

· Ability to complete multiple tasks on deadline

· Has a strong command of the following software: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other Office applications

· Demonstrated excellence in writing, communication and presentation skills

· Quick learner who is able to solve problems, multi-task and meet deadlines

· Able to interact and communicate diplomatically with multiple external organizations, internal departments and diverse audiences

 

BONUS IF YOU BRING:

· Experience with the public broadcasting system and on-air TV or radio

· Nonprofit experience

· Knowledge of the North Texas market

 

SALARY RANGE:

$67,000 to $77,000 annually, depending on experience.

LOCATION:

We expect that this position will work out of our Dallas office at least 50% of the time.
