Latino Public Broadcasting (LPB) FY 2016 Grant

This grant provides funding to Latino Public Broadcasting (LPB) for FY 2016 to continue its operations and to support the creation of multimedia content by, for and of interest to the Latino community for national distribution on public media (e.g., PBS and WORLD channel). Funding is also used to strengthen partnerships within the Latino community, to expand the impact of LPB content in that community and in the broader public media audience, and to nurture diverse creative talent within public media. LPB is one of the five National Minority Consortia (NMC) funded by CPB to assist in meeting the needs of the unserved and underserved audiences. LPB works with other members of the NMC to maximize the use of CPB funds for content creation and in NMC operations.
